Robinson, A. M. Vampire Crush. New York; HarperCollins Publishers, 2010. Print.
In the book Vampire Crush Sophie McGee is a noemal everyday girl. Nothing strange has ever happened to her or anyone she knows. Now there are sevral new students and the return of a past frienemy. Sophie learns that the new kids and her frienemy are vampires. They are looking for a girl with a star mark so that Vlad can change her and will recieve a higher position in the society. Vlad himself even admits his reasons when he says, "But you . . . you are my way back." I thought in the beginning of the story i thought that the girl he was looking for would be Sophie and I was proven correct.

Carter, Ally. Heist Society. New York: Scholastic Inc., 2010. Print.
Heist Society is about a teen girl named Kat who has decided to leave her life of crime as a thief and try to live a normal life. She cons her way into a boarding school only to be framed for a prank she did not do by a former friend named Hale. Because Kat no longer wants to be a thief, I can infer that something bad happened on a previous job to make her want to leave the “family business.” Hale picked her up when she got expelled from the school and told her that he had another job for only her to do. Kat says, “ ‘I don’t want a job.’ ‘You’ll want this one.’ ‘I’m out of the family business. Or haven’t you heard?’” (Carter 15). Hale then tells Kat that her father is in danger.

Shan,Darren.Cirque Du Freak:The Vampire's Assistant.Boston:Little,Brown and company,2001.Print.
In the book Darren is a mixture of anger and sadness. One way he shows anger is when he lashed out on Mr. Crepsley "It was a test?I stared at him ,and my hatred grew again"[Shan page138].Also one way he was sad was when his friend Sam died "Can you save him? I cried." [Shan page227]

Strasser, Todd. Blood On My Hands. New York: Egmont,2010. Print.
As I said in the past, this book is about a teenage girl trying to prove that she did not kill her 'friend'. Since, the last time, I wrote, she was captured and now she is being questioned. She has a representative and is being helped.
I predict that shes going to do everything she can to prove that she is innocent. After all she is. I predict this because she has tried everything she can t prove it. "Standing in front of the full-length mirror, I'm almost unnerved by how young I look". (Starsser 153)
To Mrs. Evans,
From Derek.
Your character Kat, reminds me of the character in my book, Callie. She reminds me of her because shes trying to prove something she did not do. She was framed, just like your character.

King,Stephen.Dreamcatcher.
New York:Pocket Books 2001.Print
My book Dreamcatcher is about four men, who have been friends forever,go on their anual hunting trip. Later a mysterious man by the name Richard McCarthy shows up at their cabin and strange things happen.
I predict that Richard McCarthy will make Jonesy and the Beav suspicious and they will try to figure out what his problem is. "But how come he didn't freeze? Beaver had lowered his voice to a near whisper...."(King,98)

Lore,Pittacus.Power of Six.New York:Harper Collins Publishers 2011.print
In the story Power Of Six I can predict that number seven will break out of a sisterhood that she has been living in for her whole life.
I can predict this because in the book she is plotting to break out of the house to find number four.

Dear Mis Evens and Derek G.
What you are reading is very similar to a family story. One day along time ago my grandma found all the labels pull off of jars so she couldn’t tell what thay were. Everyone said it was my Uncle Craig that did it but yet he didn’t get in trouble. Instead the older kids got in trouble. I found this ver fishy. This is like how in your books the main characters are blamed for what that didn’t do.

Horowitz, Anthony. Point Blank. Penguin Group. 2001. Print.
In this book the main character is Alex Rider and he is sent to someones house. That someone is a friend of his in M16's secret agency. He is to live at his house and go to a private school called Point Blank. While here he must live with a country girl by the name of Fiona. The most thrilling thing so far is having to save Fiona from a train nearly killing her. Alex must save her without killing himself. He must also do this while riding a horse. All I know is that his anger gets him to scream "Are you crazy!"

Inference.
The main in the stories name is Melinda. All her friends have stopped being her friends right before her freshman year of high school , because she had called the police at a party over summer leading to many people in the high school to be arrested. I think that Melinda is feeling alone and depressed at the moment and feels like she has nobody except some crazy new girl from ohio. a father who only yells and retreats to beer , and a mother who is quite strange.
comment to Helen C , you are right there books are a lot a like and do relate to what happend to you. Also both of their books sound really interesting.

Voigt, Cynthia. Dicey’s Song. New York: The Ballantine Publishing Group. 1982. Print.
My self to text connection is with the character Maybeth. In the book it is reveled that Maybeth has trouble in school. A good example of this was when Dicey was trying to explain fractions, but it just went in one ear and out the other. As it say in the text “It was so clear in her own mind, and Maybeth just sat and looked at her, or at the apple pieces, or at the paper. In my past I’ve had trouble really understanding school” (Voigt 13). I use to not think hard about what I wrote, or read.+

Mcnamee, Graham. Acceleration. New York: Wendy Lamb Books, 2003. Print.
In the book “Acceleration”, the main character Duncan finds a diary of a man in the lost and found of where he works. He starts reading the diary and notices things that couldn’t possibly be true. When Duncan starts digging deeper into the diary, he knows he has to tell police about this. Instead Duncan chooses to go looking for the man known as Roach. Later in the story Duncan follows this man and notices that some of the pictures in the diary were similar to where this man lived. At this point I made a connection that Duncan will get caught by doing this and get into trouble if this man was the actual writer of the diary. “I noticed the man leaving his apartment heading onto the bus…” (Mcnamee152). This event was when Duncan was following the man to his apartment.

Snicket, Lemony. A Series of Unfortunate Events The Ersatz Elevator. Harper Collins,2001. Print
In this book I predict that Count Olaf has the most evil plan yet. He has the most evil disguises and aliases. In this book he is disguised as a foreign in-auctioneer. The is the most evil and violent man. The author stated that, “Count Olaf had been the first guardian Mr. Poe had found … and two filthy hands that he hoped to use to snatch away the Baudelaire fortune that the orphans would inherit soon...“ (Snicket 6-7). His evil plans always had him getting the Baudelaire's fortune, and he will certainly try again. That is what I predict Count Olaf will be trying to do.

Stolarz, Laurie Faria. White is for Magic. St.Paul. Sixth Printing, 2005. Print.
So far in the book White is for Magic, Stacey Brown is having nightmares again. This time they aren't about Drea, they're about her. A girl who she used to babysit named Maura who was killed because Stacey's nightmares is haunting her dreams once again. I predict that since in the book the one year anniversary of Veronica Leeman's death is approaching, that the 'Ghost Groupies' will try to find a way to get Stacey to go to their reenactment of the night. "You know, legend has it some girl hung herself in here." (Stolarz 203).

Stockett ,Kathryn. The Help. New York. Berkley Books, 2010. Print
So far in the book Aibleen is asked by Sketter if she ever wants to change he world. When Aibleen doesn’t know what to say she doesn’t answer. Minny just got a new job working for Miss. Celia. Her husband doesn’t know that Minny is working for them and they are afraid he will find out. I predict that Miss. Celia’s husband will find out that she is working for them as the help. “Miss. Celia!” I dash into her bedroom. “Mister Johnny home!” (Stockett 61)

Strasser ,Todd. Give A Boy A Gun. New York. Simon Pulse, 1999. Print.
I can infer that when brendan and gary were writing there suicide notes. The bullying was so bad that they wanted there lives to be gone. I think the want to die because life was so stressful and wanted it to be over. in the book it said ,"... I'll be gome. I just want you to know there's nothing you could have done to stop this....I guess it is because I'll never be happy"(Strasser8).
